Arrival Times
Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment time to ensure a leisurely opportunity to use the restroom, etc. Arriving late, more than ten minutes after your scheduled appointment time, could result in your appointment being cancelled and being subject to the cancellation policy. We are located in the same building at Boots Chiropractic. Enter the glass entrance from the parking lot and then go into the door that says “et cetera” on it. We have a yellow couch and a neon sign. We will look for you there!
Cancellation Policy
If you can't make it to your appointment, please phone or text with a minimum of 24 hours notice whenever possible. An appointment has been reserved specifically for each client. While we understand that life happens, clients who cancel services with less than 24 hours notice, for any reason, will be subject to a cancellation fee valued at 50% of the cost of their booking. If through our efforts exhausting our waitlist we are able to refill or partially refill the appointment time, the cancellation fee may be reduced. Please reach out regarding personal extenuating circumstances. Each client is required to keep a valid credit card on file to cover this fee. Clients with a invalid card on file will not be able to rebook with the business until their cancellation fee(s) are paid in full. New clients to Body Philosophy or clients booking more than 90 minutes worth of services may be required to make a deposit of 50% of the value of their service to hold their appointment time, refundable up to 24 hours before the start of their service. New Client Online Booking
New clients who are using online booking to schedule their first appointment will be asked to put a credit card on file to hold their reservation. This is not used to pay for your appointment, and there are no authorizations or preliminary charges. This is simply for use in the case of late cancellations or no-show appointments. Alternatively, you may be asked to pay a 50% deposit to hold your appointment.
For clients who do not show for or cancel a scheduled appointment with less than a 24-hour notice, we reserve the right to charge the credit card on file a 50% cancellation fee. The credit card number on file is hidden from me and would only be used in the instance stated above.
Payments
Cash and all major credit card are accepted. We now have the ability to charge your card on file for your services should you direct us to do so as an option.
No Shows & Missed Appointments
No-call/no-show appointments or chronic short notice cancellation situations may require the client to post a non-refundable down-payment of 50-100% of the cost of the service on future bookings or to be dismissed from the practice on a case-by-case basis.
No Anonymous Clients. No Sexualization of Services.
We do not allow booking without a valid credit card and do not see “anonymous” clients or clients who wish to book under a pseudonym. We are a professional, licensed establishment and do not tolerate any behaviour perceived as sexual advance, innuendo, or comment.
